O’Bannon’s St Paddy’s Day Festival 2020
It’s official, Obannon’s is the #1 Guinness account in TEXAS!!! This will help to make this Paddy’s Day celebration even better!
O’BANNON’S is your place to “PADDY HARD” this St Patrick’s Day!
This year St Paddy’s falls on a Tuesday (Booooo). Don’t worry we’ve planned ahead to bring you twice the fun!
Here is the rundown:
FRIDAY, 13th: The pub opens at 2pm
We begin shutting down Boyett St at noon and setting up our 60ft tent.
SATURDAY, 14th: The pub opens at 10am!
***If you want live Irish Music, the Great Guinness Relay and the STREET FESTIVAL, this is the day for you!
OUTSIDE:
There will be a food truck on site serving up delicious food (menu coming soon). You can expect to see bagpipers and live music from FLASHBACK. This band plays all your favorite sing a long songs and are opening up for some STOUT IRISH ROCK w/ BLAGGARDS!
INSIDE:
We’re pulling Perfect Pints of Guinness and your other favorites all day. At 3pm Blackwater Draw Brewing Co. will be at the pub. You can meet the brewer and try ‘Pot of Gold’ (yep! Mulligan w/ actual shiny glitter in it making it sparkle like gold).
*Limited SPD souvenier cups from BWD will be available
We’re bringing back a crowd favorite from 2 years ago too! FROZEN IRISH COFFEE!
MONDAY, 16TH: Pub opens at 2pm
Everyone packs in the pub at midnight as we watch the count down clock hit 00:00:00:00!
TUESDAY, 17th- Pub Opens at 7am
Immediately start pulling pints and spiking your coffee with Irish whiskey. Like mimosas? We will have complementary mimosas while supplies last. Breakfast will be available beginning at 10am as well (eggs, ham, bangers, potatoes, baked beans).
From 9am-12pm we will give your the opportunity to learn how to pour your own pint of Guinness! You’ll get a souvenir glass too!
At 11am join us in our annual St. Patrick’s Day morning TOAST to kick off the day! Be here for a pint, mimosa, or Irish coffee and let’s enjoy the BEST celebration of the year!
At 12pm we will have lunch catered in! (Menu coming soon)
We also have events planned throughout the day. We don’t know their schedule but we usually get frequent visits from Tullamore Dew, Jameson, or Bushmills.
What about beer? We’ve got all the green beer you can handle. We will not run out. Guinness? That’s our #1 seller at the pub. Did we mention we sell more Guinness than anywhere in TEXAS?! We are known for it. We ring a bell every time it’s served and our brand new shiny logo incorporates that bell. Guinness takes pride in their beer and how it’s poured and we take pride in following that standard.
And finally, remember all those breweries and distilleries we mentioned would be on site? We have TONS of shirts, beads, shot glasses, hats and just about anything else you can think of to giveaway!
O’Bannon’s has one of the BEST St Patrick’s Day parties in TEXAS! We were even visited by the Guinness Book of World Records!
