Prize-winning Author, Kwame Alexander, to Give Reading
New York Times Bestselling author Kwame Alexander is visiting Bryan College Station Public Library System’s Larry J Ringer Public Library on October 24 at 6:30 pm for a discussion and book signing of his latest novel, “The Door of No Return”. Books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Brain Lair Books. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
National Public Radio’s poet-in-resident Kwame Alexander will give a reading and sign his new
Young Adult book The Door of No Return. The New York Times bestselling author of 28 books has won numerous writing awards He is also co-founder of L.E.A.P., an international literacy empowerment organization that built a library and health clinic in east Ghana. The book takes its title from a memorial arch in Ouidah, Benin.
